Hey! I'm Rachel :)

I started Every Bloom the summer of 2020 when I was a freshman in high school. I was gifted a packet of zinnia and cosmos seeds and decided to try growing the seeds and see what happened.  To my surprise, the seeds sprouted, grew and eventually bloomed!  The following spring I wrote a letter (yes, old-fashioned snail-mail!) to one of my favorite flower businesses. Following the letter, the business generously gifted me a large amount of dahlia tubers! Since then I've been hooked on growing dahlias, other perennials, and many seed annuals. I am now obsessed with locally grown flowers!
